Kanturk National School New Build & PV

Project overview

Flesk Electrical provided the full electrical installation for the new two:storey extension to Kanturk National School, comprising 16 classrooms, a general purpose hall, library, support spaces and a three:room ASD unit.

The scope included LV distribution, general and emergency lighting, fire alarm, general services, security, CCTV and access control, intruder alarm, ICT infrastructure, containment, lightning protection and a grid:connected PV system.

Flesk coordinated technical submittals, RAMS and programme with the main contractor and design team, and delivered the PV system using Longi modules and a three:phase Solis inverter with ESB:approved protection. All systems were tested, commissioned and certified to IS 3217, IS 3218, I.S.10101 and relevant PV standards, with full O&Ms for the school and OPW.
